In fact, Faith is an abstract belief and it is the first pillar of Islam. No one could enter the circle of Islam unless he/she does not have a strong belief in one God. However, after accepting the Islam the typical rules are obviously applied to someone else. In the Islamic perspective, faith is called “Iman” which is the basic step to follow the other principles of Islam as well. There are six axioms of faith in Islam which are commonly known in the Islamic term as “Arkan al-Iman”. The First Axiom of Faith in Islam is the blind belief in the oneness of God (Tauheed).
Truly, the person who submits his/her will to only one God is called the Muslim. Not, only Islam emphasis in Monotheism but all the religions in the world acknowledge the existence of one God. There is no unequivocal statement in authentic testimonials which depict more than one God.
In the Holy Quran God says which interpretation is that “If there is more than one God, so the system of the universe could not survive because of their separate opinions”. Thus, the creation of the whole universe is completed by one Power. God says, “Verily! I formed the whole universe including skies and earth only in six days. So, the mentioned verse leads to the power of only one God. Thus, science also proves that logically God must be one to run the system of the whole universe.
Yet, the question is marked that why someone could blindly believe in only one God Who is intangible?

Indeed, God does not forcibly convince the man to believe in His one Existence but actually, God puts the innate idea in the brain of man by His ultimate Power to think about the creation of man itself and it’s all around. Another important question is to face that why several people believe more than one God such as goddess, sun, moon, statue, and fire, etc. The reason behind believing in several substances as the greatest power is that, they are wrong educated and wrong concepts of real God are suppressed in their minds by those who already have wrong concepts regarding belief. So, in Islam, this term is called the “Shirk” (associating someone or something else with God). The Devil’s main focus is on the Shirk as this is an unpardoned sin which God does not forgive.
Thus, a man should away from the Shirk as it is the unpardoned sin and if unfortunately he feels the doubt of such sin, immediately move towards the God’s concentration and the best place is obviously Kaaba. In the Holy Quran God says, “All the sins are pardoned except Shirk”. It means God dislikes Shirk rather than other sins. The devil does not directly persuade to man towards Shirk. He creates such ideas in the brain of man which gradually reach Shirk peak point.
After a long time the passing away of Prophet Adam, Satan bottled-up the wrong ideas in the knowledge of people that they must make the statutes of righteous people who proselytized the Oneness of God. Thus, the people formed the sculptures of righteous people to memorize their great devotion. But, after a long time, the descendants of the people directly began to worship to those of statues and eventually committed into Shirk sin.
Similarly, Noah (AS) again preached the oneness of God and after passing him Satan diverted the attention of people into Shirk. God sent around one lac twenty-four thousand Messengers, so they all gave the message of Monotheism. There are also several kinds of Shirk which are also committed from educated multitudes. Since the definition of Shirk is obviously to submit the will not to One intangible God but others things, it means bowing in the front of other thing is also consider the Shirk. And today we notice that several people including Muslim visit the Sufis Shrines where they request to fulfill their desire by prostrating in the front of the grave which also is prohibited in Islam.
Moreover, people also consult the fake Sufis and get amulets regarding accomplishment of their wrong deeds. So, such kinds of activities also consider the Shirk which is strictly prohibited in Islam. Therefore, we should avoid all those actions which are indirectly indulged into Shirk. As we feel the guilt of any kind of Shirk meanwhile we should pray to Allah (SWT) for the salvation of our sins.
