Nature has given us many resources. Fruit is one of them. Many types of fruits are available in Bangladesh and other countries. Among them orange, mango, litchi, jackfruit, guava, plum etc. are the most important.

There are many types of summer fruits. Among them mango, jackfruit, watermelon, litchi are very common. These fruits are very tasty to eat. Their smell is very sweet. Mango is called the king of all fruits. Jackfruit is a large fruit. It is our national fruit. The rest are small in size but very tasty. Pineapple, guava, amra etc. are monsoon fruits. Pineapples are grown in abundance in Sylhet and Rangamati. It is a juicy fruit rich in vitamins. Guava and Amra are very healthy fruits. Oranges, olives, wood apples, plums are winter fruits. Winter fruits are loved by children.

There are some fruits which taste sour. Lemon is the most popular among them. There are several varieties of which Kagoji is the best. Tamarind, ‘Kamaranga’ and ‘Batabi’ are also sour in taste.

Bananas and coconuts are available throughout the year. The arts of Rampal and Narsingdi are famous. People take coconuts and bananas too. They are very helpful for our general health

Each fruit contains different essential vitamins. We can stay healthy by eating those fruits. We can export our fruits abroad by meeting the needs of the countrymen. Then our economy will improve.

The land of our country is very suitable for cultivation of various types of fruits. And so we got different results. They help build our health. They can also help build our national wealth.

Benefits of fruits: Not only does fruit aid in good physical health, but it also provides benefits for good mental health. Fruit makes weight loss more efficient and heightens brain functions. Eating a healthy amount of fruit improves the ability for the body to lose weight. Fruit contains eighty percent water just like the human body.
