From there, you can see the magnificent summit of Mount Everest and many other mountain ranges, which provide for incredibly breathtaking vistas. But if you have more time, continuing the journey to Gokyo Valley or Everest Base Camp will give you an even more amazing view as you get higher up—a true representation of Nepal’s landscape.

From Namche Bazaar and Everest View Lodge, participants in the Everest View Trek—also called the 7-day short trek to Mount Everest Base Camp—can enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Kongde Ri, and Kusum Kanguru. In addition, see the lively center of Namche Bazaar and quaint Sherpa settlements like Thame, Khunde, and Khumjung.

There is a 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla to start the Everest View Panorama Trek. Trek through the Dudh Kosi Canyon for the following two days to arrive at Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas. The next day is a climb up to the Everest View Hotel for a breathtaking view of Ama Dablam and Mount Everest. Hiking destinations for the second day include mountaintop settlements called Khunde and Khumjung, home to traditional Sherpa communities. Return to Lukla from Namche on the last day, and take a dawn flight back to Kathmandu. This hike is extremely amazing and will definitely make you want to travel to Nepal for more experiences.

In addition to offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, the Everest View Panorama Trek offers a look of the Sherpa people’s rich cultural legacy and kind hospitality.
