Overview of the MRCS exam
The Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) Membership is widely acknowledged as the pinnacle of surgical skill on a global scale. There are two sections to the MRCS exam: Part A and Part B.
The two exams that make up the MRCS Part A written exam evaluate applicants’ understanding of applied basic sciences and surgical principles. It is a five-hour test intended to gauge fundamental surgical knowledge. MRCS Part B is an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), which examines a candidate’s practical abilities and clinical knowledge in areas such as history-taking, communication, and clinical procedures.
Following the announcement of the September 2024 MRCS Part A exam results, StudyMRCS has solidified its position as the industry leader in MRCS exam preparation. The exceptional achievements of our applicants demonstrate the efficacy of our committed initiatives.
“I am overjoyed and grateful to all of the StudyMEDIC staff members and mentors, who were tremendously supportive during the course and greatly contributed to my exam success. I apologize if I missed any mentors; special thanks go out to Drs. Rakhshith, Aditi, Sujan, Yugal, and Aishwarya. Dr. Abhik Debnath, a StudyMRCS student, says, “The classes, materials, intense hours, mock exams, and revision sessions each played a significant role in the overall process of preparation and eventual success.”
“I sincerely appreciate all of the StudyMEDIC team’s advice. The regular practice of multiple-choice questions and the skill-enhancement discussion sessions were the greatest parts. Another happy student, Dr. Sidra Akhtar, says, “Special thanks to Drs. Rakhshith, Sanjay, Thasleema Ma’am, Sujan, Aishwarya, Sheena, and all the team members for their support.”
As we celebrate this accomplishment, we urge aspiring candidates to entrust StudyMRCS with their training requirements.
